Dr. Brown is a retired Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who now certifies qualified patients for the Connecticut Medical Marijuana Program. After graduating from New York University Medical School, he completed his surgical residency at NYU and Tufts Medical Center. He then served in the US Army Medical Corps in Vietnam at the 3rd Field Hospital in Saigon, where he received the Bronze Star. After completing his Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical College, he practiced in the greater Hartford area for more than 35 years. He was the first US physician to join the Canadian Consortium on Medical Marijuana and has been helping CT residents get certified for the Medical Marijuana Program since 2015.
