How do I get a Medical Marijuana License?
Step 1 - Have Dr. Brown certify you with the state as having a qualifying diagnosis and therefore eligible for a state MMP License
Step 2 - You will receive an email from the DCP (Department of Consumer Protection) stating that you are now eligible.
Step 3 - Create an account on the state licensing website biznet.ct.gov
Step 4 - While logged into your account on the site you will be asked to:
- Confirm your information
- Provide proof of identity - Driver's License, Passport or other photo ID
- Provide proof of residency - utility bill, bank statement or other computer-generated mail with both your name and address (must be less than 90 days old)
- Submit
Step 5 - You will receive an email from the DCP with a letter stating you are now licensed. The license itself will be in the bottom right corner. If you have a printer, you can print your own license. If you do not have a printer, most dispensaries will print and laminate your license for you.
