Renewal Process
When do I need to renew my MMP License?
Your license is good for one year from the date your physician certifies you. Check on the license or in your Biznet account for your expiration date. The DCP unlocks your account for us to begin the renewal process 30 days before your expiration.
Recertification
Consultations with Dr. Brown for recertification can be done via Telemedecine and take approximately 20 minutes. His fee for recertification is $125 and $100 for veterans. Please let us know if you receive state assistance or are currently experiencing hardship.
Renewal Process
Step 1 - Have a consultation with Dr. Brown. He will then certify you with the state as still having a qualifying diagnosis and therefore eligible to renew your state MMP License.
Step 2 - You will receive an email from the DCP (Department of Consumer Protection) stating that you are now eligible.
Step 3 - Click the link in the email, which will re-activate your account for the next year. You will then need to log in to your account and:
- Confirm your information
- Provide proof of identity - Driver's License, Passport or other photo ID
- Provide proof of residency - utility bill, bank statement or other computer-generated mail with both your name and address (must be less than 90 days old)
- Submit
Step 5 - You will receive a letter from the DCP stating you are now licensed. The license itself will be in the bottom right corner. If you have a printer, you can print your own license. If you do not have a printer, most dispensaries will print and laminate your license for you.
